—Willard Morgan—
Willard Morgan is a New York-born filmmaker, producer, director, writer, actor, composer & activist. A veteran of Broadway & off b’way productions, Morgan is an indie film award winner, and founder of the Greenwich Village creative hive Ideal Glass Studios (idealglassstudios.com). On Broadway, he produced The Runner Stumbles which the late filmmaker Stanley Kramer brought to the screen, starring Dick Van Dyke. While working in LA, Morgan co-produced Babak Shokrian’s two indie features to the screen, America So Beautiful & Shah Bob. As actor and producer, he co-starred in Say Goodnight, Gracie at Playwrights Horizons which led to a six month run off Broadway. With Saint Hollywood, a rock musical about the disappearing denisons of Hollywood Blvd, Morgan began his long collaboration with designer/artists Uta Bekaia & Darlene Ken which led to Vestiphobia, a music-driven, spoken word ‘psychedelic journey through space, time and your closet,’ a radical entertainment about fashion, how it delights us, obsesses us, and ravages our planet. In his ‘mocumentary, ‘Me & Michael’ a satire on Michael Moore’s ‘Roger & Me’ Morgan equates Hollywood with Flint, Michigan and takes you into the belly of the most desperate of LA wanna-be’s. As songwriter, performer and video director, Morgan has a Youtube channel where his extensive music video productions created at Ideal Glass Studios, amusingly and musically entertain.
